Lenin’s letter of greetings to the workers and employees of the Elektroperedacha Power Station (now the Klasson Station, named after the engineer who built it) was written in reply to an invitation to speak at the opening of the club on the occasion of the fifth anniversary of the October Revolution.
Dear Comrades,
Today, on the fifth anniversary of the revolution, it gives me particular pleasure to welcome the opening of your club. I express the hope that by joint efforts you, workers and employees at the State Elektroperedacha Power Station, will turn that club into one of the most important centres of education for workers
V. Ulyanov (Lenin)
