Written in reply to I. N. Smirnov’s telegram addressed to Lenin reporting on the progress of work for dispatching coal from Kolchugino and the Kuznetsk Basin.
Lenin gave directives for the troops of the Red Army to guard the property left by Kolchak’s retreating army at Omsk and along the railway line to Irkutsk.
