Comrade Sverdlov
Alexei Andreyevich Preobrazhensky is an old Party functionary who has worked on the railways for more than 20 years. At the present time he is Chief of the Administrative Service of the Samara-Zlatoust Railway. He is now 57–58 years old. He is extremely overworked and ill and needs a lengthy rest and treatment. Please give him 3 months’ leave with pay and rations.
