26/XI. Lenin

  1. During the talk with Deputy People’s Commissar for the Affairs of Nationalities, A. Z. Kamensky, Lenin drew attention to the need to issue literature on the national question.
On November 26, 1920, Kamensky sent Lenin a letter, informing him that the State Publishers were delaying the issue of a prepared collection of Soviet government decisions on the national question over a period of three years, and requested Lenin’s personal intervention. The note published here was written by Lenin on Kamensky’s letter.
Shortly after this, in December 1920, the State Publishers put out the collection of the People’s Commissariat for the Affairs of Nationalities, Politika Sovetskoi vlasti po natsionalnym dyelam za tri goda. 1917—XI—1920 (The Policy of the Soviet Power on National Affairs for Three Years. 1917-XI-1920).
