Letter to Pavel Axelrod, April 18, 1902
Source: Lenin Collected Works, Progress Publishers, 1977, Moscow, Volume 43, page 81a.
18.IV. 02
Dear P. B.,
I take this opportunity to write a couple of words to you: the letters for B. N âch just received should be passed on to him as soon as possible. If he is not there, please forward them to him.
If Berg is there, ask him to write me a few words about his plans: when and where he is going, and for how many days. And the main thing: did he receive the two letters I posted to him on Saturday morning (the 12th)?
We are busy getting settledâthere is plenty to do. In the meantime write to Alexeyevâs addressâI shall get it at once (Mr. Alexejeff. 14. Frederick Str. 14. Grayâs Inn Road. London W. C.). You got my letter from Cologne, didnât you?[1]
And what about your article?
Best regards,
Yours....
(First impression of London: vile. And everything is quite expensive!)
- â The reference is to âRemarks on the Committeeâs Draft Programmeâ (present edition, Vol. 6, pp. 61â73). The âRemarksâ were written in part in Cologne, where Lenin stopped ever on his way from Munich to London.âEd.
