Written at a time when Communists were being mobilised for the struggle against Kolchak, this note is a reply to Kostelovskaya, a Party member. She asked how she was to understand her appointment to the Eastern Front as the head of the Political Department of the 2nd Army.
It is to be understood for what it is—a decision of the CC This is wartime. All must be where things are most difficult.
