MARX TO JOHANN PHILIPP BECKER
IN GENEVA
[London,] 14 September 1870
Dear Becker,
Enclosed the Address of the GENERAL COUNCIL[1] for the Egalité. Tomorrow you will receive the German translation I have made (for I wrote it originally in English). T h e German translation contains a few sentences intended for Germany, notably the workers, but it was too late to insert them in the English version.
Salut
Your
K. M.
