An Introduction Worthy of Rosa Luxemburg
Dear Comrade Wasserman:
It is absolutely impossible for me to write an introduction to the letters of Rosa Luxemburg. I am now totally absorbed by my books and an introduction should be worthy of Rosa.
It would be very good to publish I Confess under the condition of a very good translation, which is not so easy. Diego Rivera promised to illustrate this book if the parts of the translation are sent to him in time.
I hope to receive the final report of the Dewey Commission [Not Guilty] in a sufficient number of copies in order to impress public opinion here. At least fifteen copies would be necessary.
Don't occupy yourself further about Breton's books. We obtained them here. I am very glad to hear from you that Mr. Meyer Schapiro is not antagonistic to us but sympathetic. I am writing him today.
