MARX TO ENGELS
IN MANCHESTER
[London,] 14 June 1860
Dear Engels,
Can you let me have some money by Monday[1]? Altogether I have laid out ABOUT £13 on the lawsuit and the Vogt affair up till now, and my being unwell has prevented me from doing any articles for the past three weeks.
Siebel left yesterday. Very many thanks for your portrait. I have something most important politically to tell you (tomor- row). I cannot write any more today as a visitor is waiting for me downstairs.
Your
K. M.
