Dear A. A.,
Here is Steklovâs letter. Reply to him yourself. I replied that I was agreeable, provided the subjects were changed roundâphilosophy for me, the peasant question for Bazarov.[1]
All the best,
Lenin
P.S. Return the letter.
- â In October 1908, Y. M. Steklov asked Lenin to write an article âChernyshevsky and the Peasant Questionâ for a collection on Chernyshevskyâs life and work. He asked Lenin to inform Bogdanov of his letter. Lenin sent Bogdanov Steklovâs letter with his own note.
The collection was not published.
