I suggest the following answer:

“Dear Comrades,

“In view of the obviously insulting nature of your letter of September 28, 1909, in reply to our proposal ‘to entrust the actual organisation and guidance of a propagandists’ school abroad to the Central Committee of the Party or the enlarged Editorial Board of Proletary’, we do not consider it necessary to reply to it and can only suggest one thing: publish your letter.”[1]

  1. ↑ The letter sent to the Council of the Capri school read as follows: = “Dear Comrades! Of the two prospects noted in our letter to you the second has materialised: you do not wish to carry out the decisions of the local organisations but propose to negotiate with the Bolshevik organ only as a separate exclusive group. You know full well that by taking this stand you yourselves are impeding further talks. We can give you only one advice: publish your last letter to us.”
    However, the School Council published its letter only after the end of the course in “Report of the First Higher Social-Democratic Propaganda and Agitation School for Workers” in Paris late in 1909.
