Cologne, November 25. In the questioning of Marx, Schapper and Schneider II before the examining magistrate’s court on account of the second appeal issued in the name of the Rhenish District Committee of Democrats,[1] the statement of the accused, to the effect that they had drawn up and signed that appeal, was recorded, and thereupon the questioning was closed. None of the accused persons was arrested. This in reply to various letters received by the District Committee.
