Dear G. V.,
I forgot to ask you to do the following: please Look among your papers for a <i>letter</i> my wife sent you <i>concerning the article</i> “<i>The Workers’ Party and the Peasantry</i>”<ref>See present edition, Vol. 4, pp. 420–28.—<i>Ed</i>.</ref> (three or four close-written sheets of letter paper, without heading or signature).
You haven’t given your opinion as regards printing it in <i>Zarya</i>. I would like to remind you of it, so that you should not forget to send it to us <i>without fail before leaving</i><ref>A reference to G. V. Plekhanov’s trip to Brussels to attend a conference of the International Socialist Bureau, to which he had been elected, together with B. N. Krichevsky, at the Paris Congress of the Second International in 1900. The conference opened on December 30, 1901, and Plekhanov’s report on its proceedings was published in <i>Iskra</i> No. 15 dated January 15, 1902, under the title, “From Brussels. Letter to the Editors of <i>Iskra</i>” (see G. V. Plekhanov, <i>Collected Works</i>, Russian Ed., Vol. 12, 1924, pp. 193–98).</ref> (or to bring it along).
Please write when you plan to leave and expect to arrive here.
Berg is said to have scored a success in Paris. But the Union crowd in Russia have achieved absolutely nothing! This is the very time to crush them.
I am writing a pamphlet<ref>See <i>What Is To Be Done</i>? (present edition, Vol. 5, pp. 347–529).—<i>Ed</i>.</ref> against them, and I get angrier and angrier as I go on. The only trouble is that my pamphlet is getting too fat!
This is a minor edit
