Representatives of the revolutionary German troops of the village of Lyshchichi __PRINTERS_P_609_COMMENT__ 39—01148 (signatures). Chairman of the Unecha organisation of the RCP(b) Ivanov. Revolutionary Commissar Lind. Commander of the Bogun Regiment Shchors.”

Ivanov, Chairman of the Unecha RCP

Unecha

I thank everyone for the greetings. Am particularly touched by the greetings from the revolutionary soldiers of Germany. It is now extremely important that the revolutionary soldiers of Germany should take an immediate and active part in liberating the Ukraine. First of all, the whiteguards and the Ukrainian authorities must be arrested and, secondly, delegates from the revolutionary troops of Germany must be sent to all German military units in the Ukraine, so that they may take rapid and common action to liberate the Ukraine. There is no time to lose. Not an hour must be wasted. Telegraph immediately whether the revolutionary soldiers of Germany are accepting this proposal.

Lenin

Chairman, Council of People’s Commissars
