All schools, including teachers and pupils, to have their requirements in bread fully provided for over and above the given calculations, and Comrades Kamenev, Tsyurupa and Yakovleva to figure out exactly what amount of bread should be earmarked for this purpose, with the addition of a minimum, specially verified, quantity for office employees.
Another 1 million gold rubles to be added for school expenses.[1]
Lenin
- â Leninâs proposal was included in the decision of the Politbureau on December 7, 1922, on the report of the State Supplies Commission. The CPC was directed to allocate to the Peopleâs Commissariat for Education two million gold rubles out of the money economised on the ship-repair programme (see Collected Works, Fifth [Russian] Edition, Vol. 45, pp. 311â12).
