Letter to Grigori Zinoviev, Between April 18 and 24, 1916
Published: First published in 1964 in collected Works, Fifth (Russian) Ed., Vol. 49. Sent from Zurich to Berne. Printed from the original.
Source: Lenin Collected Works, Progress Publishers, 1977, Moscow, Volume 43, pages 534b-535a.
Radek has no grounds whatever for taking offence, and this should be explained to him calmly and at length. You should arrange the meeting with him as quickly as possible (without waiting for me) (in order to reassure him). You can certainly represent the CC at this meeting, as you generally represent the CC in Berne. We have long been corresponding about your conferring with Radek in regard to the theses.
The situation is what it was before Zimmerwald: we have our own âresolutionsâ, but we do not reject a Left bloc.
I shall try to come straight to Kienthal (try to find out the name of the hotelâthere are only two or three of them there).
Iâm terribly angry at not having received Junius!
Salut, Lenin
